  Description

  VIPER 424 Low Voltage 24 Volt Strong and Silent Linear Actuator

  

  The VIPER 424 Is a High-End ITALIAN 24 Volt Telescopic actuator in the Extra Heavy Duty Class, Strong and Silent this actuator can swing gate weights of up to 300KG and Gates up to 3.6m (12FT). Construction is solid and smooth from the die-cast inner structure connecting systems internals to the post bracket to the extruded aluminum housing, stainless steel piston, and robust 3/4″ Internal lead screw the actuator retains subtle and quiet characteristics but the drive to push gates of most sizes and weights.

  Operations are smooth and efficient using its 24 Volt DC motor system coupled to a 19mm (3/4″) lead screw driving the stainless steel “piston” in and out. The end positions are set using the easiest possible method of adjustable limit stops. Limit stops are slid forward/back to adjust both the maximum open and closed positions of the gate, being a mechanical system its a case of set and forget with no further adjustments being required. Typically the open and closed positions will not require and further stops unless higher wind loads are expected (cladded gates).

  The Viper series actuators are 100% Universal meaning one actuator could be installed on EITHER side of the driveway as the clever clutch release system (Emergency release) is available on both sides of the actuator.

  The laser cut steel brackets for the gate and post are constructed from 6mm steel (galvanized) ensuring they are rigid and static with no flexibility or movement. The actuator is suited for both pull to open inwards and also pushing outwards to open installations.

  The Viper 424 has 400mm of usable stroke without the use of included limit stoppers, or effectively a reduction of 30mm per limit stop used (MIN. 340mm/370mm) and has the ability to work with gates from as narrow as 750mm and as wide as 3.6m (12ft) with a maximum weight of 300kg, if a wider gate is installed please see the Viper 524 series of operators.

  The prerequisite for a VIPER operator is a gate mounting rail or fitting point at 200mm or greater from the ground level. A 6mm thick Riser plate is included in the package contents to create a mounting point for the actuator if required.

  A 1 Metre flying lead is pre-connected to the actuator ready to connect to a junction of your choosing. Cable rolls and junction boxes are available as add on items.

  Supplied Riser Plate

  The supplied riser plate allows for installation to the bottom rail when no others are available making it suitable for all gate mounting rail scenarios. Alternatively the gate mounting bracket (without the riser plate) can be installed to any horizontal rail greater than 200mm from ground level.

  Dukie Photocell Kit

  

  The Dukie series photocell kit will provide an invisible to the eye infrared beam across the driveway to prevent the gate closing from obstacles in the beams path. Both the photocells are wired back to the control box with low voltage wiring however the optional upgrade to Dukie+ photocell allows for battery operation on the further photocell from the gate control box meaning only one of the photocells is wired.

  OPTIONAL Uninterrupted Battery Backup System

  

  The optional uninterrupted battery backup system allows for continued use in the case of power loss without the need for any user intervention, it will continue to allow system operation including any system accessories for 24 hours OR until the power is restored. The batteries are automatically recharged when power is restored and trickle whilst power is available Directly fitting into the systems compartment there is no need for any additional storage boxes.   Tekno 4 4G 3G LTE GSM Intercom

  

  The Tekno 4 is the solution for gates and entry ways that are unable to have a hard wired or Wi-Fi intercom. It can be used in just about all locations with a 98% network coverage of Australia.

  The Tekno 4 is powered by 12V DC (adapted supplied) it will allow for a guest to press the call button, at this time the Tekno 4 will begin calling its enrolled admin users in sequence (can be a mobile or landline, individual person or an office).

  Once the call is answered the admin user and the guest have two-way handsfree communication at which point a command can be given by the admin user to operate the system.
