Bandit Low Voltage 24 Volt Automatic Driveway Gate Motor

Automatic heavy duty electric and solar gate for driveways

The Bandit Linear Actuator kit is a robust yet compact length heavy duty automatic driveway gate motor with TWO unique features. Firstly designed to step down to the gate rail this allows for a characteristic which many other gate motors cannot provide in a case where there may be a retaining wall (or other obstacle) in the path of an inline linear actuator the bandit allows for the operator to sit higher up on the post side and steps down by 50mm to suit the gate rail. Secondly The driven carrier nut (brass) is attached to a galvanized steel gate adapter which allows a swivel motion to occur suiting gates that have out of line hinges causing a minor rise or tilt of the gate in operation.

Constructed from a solid Die-Cast Alloy housing along with a solid die-cast and brass inner spider gear design. It operates Quickly and Quietly thanks to the low noise and 90% duty cycle 24 Volt DC motor system. End positions are set by easy to adjust limit micro switches for both the open and closed positions.

Absolutely no compromises or shortcuts are taken with the Bandit with a a 35mm brass driven carrier nut, a 19mm (3/4″) worm drive on the DC motor and then a 19mm (3/4″) lead screw for the carrier to travel on. This gate actuator is built for a lifetime of use.

The laser cut steel brackets for the gate and post cater for all installations allowing for up to 16 different mounting configurations to achieve the desired pivot geometry for either pulling inwards to open and also pushing outwards to open installations. The post bracket assembly consists to three parts, the top and bottom plates are 4mm thick each whilst the curved tongue is 8mm thick. The total thickness of the post bracket assembly when assembled is an outstanding 16mm.

The Bandit has the ability to work with each gate from as short as 800mm and as wide as 3m (10ft) with a maximum weight of 450kg, if a wider gate is installed please see the Commando series gate actuators.

The Premier SW24 Automatic gate system controller comes standard with a state of the art feature set catering for all types of installations, whether only requiring ordinary residential operation to all the way up to a full fledged setup requiring advanced logic principals taking advantage of the 70% duty cycle.

The on-board display makes easy work of any settings changes if desired and is easily visible in the outdoors being the advantage of LED displays. With multiple Inputs and outputs just about any accessory is compatible with the Premier SW24 system (see the complete list below). Also boasting multiple safety inputs along with its precise on-board detection it allows safety to remain prioritized for any application.

The installation process is always kept in mind allowing up to 7 cable inputs into the outdoor weatherproof gate control box using IP68 cable glands, you will never run out of space or provisions for more.

The genius automatic learning system, hold one key to enable and begin the automatic learning of the gate system and automatic definition of the ramp up and slow down points, its as easy as it gets suiting all skill levels from DIY once off installs to professional installers.

All connections are Low Voltage and safe for all installers regardless of the skill level without the concern of electrical shock.

CERO Built IN ready to go PWM Solar Regulator

The Cero Solar Regulator is PWM type suited for Gel, Sealed and Flooded batteries. It operates in a 3 stage charging control to ensure optimal performance to the batteries and provide the greatest longevity. The Cero is has protections in place in case of errors and failures in the solar panel installation or battery installation and will shut down in the case of short circuit and overload, then restart once clear.

The LCD display provides accurate data on the current input voltage from the solar panel, the current stage of charging and also the current battery voltage making it easy to check the status on the fly.

Battery System

Supplied with an external Dual DEEP CYCLE battery system 24V 15aH system as standard in a SLIMLINE Waterproof and Dust Proof Rated Enclosure (IP67 Cable Gland Supplied), there are a total of THREE battery capacity options available.

Option 1 (Premier 24-15B): The 15aH Deep Cycle setup allow for up to a two and a half weeks of usage without any charge from the solar panel in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days (whilst factoring in standby power), this is the ideal choice for areas that may see a consistent week of poor weather poor weather through winter without sunlight. This is great choice VIC, NSW, SA, ACT, TAS, QLD, NT and WA.

Option 2 (Premier 24-22B): The 22aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over three weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Light commercial usage.

Option 2 (Premier 24-26B): The 26aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over four weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Medium commercial usage of 10-15 operations per day for a period of approx. 2 weeks.

The allowances are general in nature and typically factor for a continuous period taking into account overcast and other poor weather conditions along with wet seasons that will contribute to a no charge/minimal charge result from the solar system. These allowances do not take into account shade on the solar panel which will effect the overall charging.

These allowances DO NOT take into account WiFi and Bluetooth Modules, as system consumption will increase using one of these devices Always use the next option up from requirment.

Dukie Automatic gate and garage door photocell

The Dukie + series photocell kit will provide an invisible to the eye infrared beam across the driveway to prevent the gate closing from obstacles in the beams path. The further photocells operates on batteries and the closer photocell is wired back to the control box with low voltage wiring however optionally if required the standard Dukie photocell allows for a wired connection to both photocells if desired.
