Versatile Driveway Sliding Gate Frame for cladding

Versatile driveway gate frame for cladding
The versatile design gate frame is suitable for both INTERNAL horizontal cladding (up to 20mm material thickness) or EXTERNAL vertical/Horizontal Cladding of any thickness. The gate features a center 40x40mm dividing the cladding area into two sections which does not interfere with internal cladding. The construction is of pre-galvanized steel RHS tubing for the Bottom Rail (80x40mm), SHS tubing (40x40mm Top and Sides) and a Vertical support of 40x40mm in the center, every join on the gate is welded providing the best strength and rigidity unlike flat pack gates.

Key Features

Proper Rigid Steel Gate, 100% Welded (NO flat pack and NO concerns about flex, integrity or assembly)
Pre-Galvanized Steel Tubing
Satin Black Powder Coating (NIGHT SKY COLOUR)
RHS 80x40 Bottom Rails
SHS 40x40 Top and Sides
SHS 40x40 Vertical Center

Horizontal Aluminium Slat System

Sliding-Gate-Aluminium-Slat-Options
The Aluminium slat system provides maintenance free and a cost effective solution for a privacy conscience and modern gate and fencing system. Key benefits over this slat system compared to others are:
Additional support structure within each slat
Pre-Punched Channels with fixed 10mm gaps makes alignment simple
No finicky spacers
Finned channel extrusion allows for two friction fit holding points of the slat WITHOUT the need of additional screws (Slats are totally screw-less).

Three Aluminium slat colour's to choose from in the kit contents tab:
Satin Black (Night Sky)
Monument
Woodland Grey

The kit is supplied with the required Aluminium slats, punched channels etc. Cutting and assembly of the slat system is required during the installation phase.

Top Guide System Options

Multiple options available to choose from based on the gates total thickness including any horizontally cladding material if applicable.

100mm Black rollers with 175mm Bracket 100mm White rollers with 175mm Bracket 100mm Black rollers with 210mm HD Bracket 100mm Black rollers with 210mm HD Bracket Independent roller system White Independent roller system Black

100mm Black rollers with 175mm Bracket
The 175mm overhead bracket allows for an adjustment up to maximum total gate thickness of 75mm. This is the standard option typically used with 40/50mm thick gates without external cladding and allows for minor adjustment.

100mm White rollers with 175mm Bracket
The 175mm overhead bracket allows for an adjustment up to maximum total gate thickness of 75mm. This is the standard option typically used with 40/50mm thick gates without external cladding and allows for minor adjustment.

100mm Black rollers with 210mm HD Bracket
The 210mm Longer overhead bracket is typically the go to in most cases when flexibility and best adjustment is key. Allowing for a large adjustment area up to maximum total gate thickness of 115mm. Using an overhead bracket and roller arrangement as it allows for all standard gate thickness and also surface mounted horizontally clad gates or gates that need a larger set back away from the post. It is constructed of DUAL C channels providing the best rigidity and with no flex under load.

Independent roller system (White)
Typically (but not exclusively) used with spear design gates, a guide roller on each side (inside support post also required) WITHOUT the need of an overhead bracket allows for any protrusion above the gate frame to run through without an issue as the rollers contact each side of the gate frame, it does however require the gate to operate on a level grade, if not see the C channel section option with Nylon Block.

Gate Catcher/Receiver Meeting Point

Multiple options available to choose from based on the gates total thickness including and cladding material if applicable. It is recommended to use a gate catcher that is 10mm greater than the gate thickness. All catchers are available with offset brackets allowing for closing behind a post (as opposed to up to a post).

Sliding Gate Wheel Options

Internal Recess/Flush Mount Wheels

Sliding gate internal recess bearing wheel
Internal Double bearing wheels allow the gate wheels to be recessed into the bottom of the gate frame (minimum height 75mm tubing), they keep the gate close to the ground track system (normally within 25mm) and provide the neatest aesthetic. The small pocket cut into the bottom of the gate is not greater than the 78mm wheel diameter and allows the flange points to meet with the tubing on either side and screw into place.

External Surface Mount Wheels

Sliding gate internal recess bearing wheel
The easiest to install, these bearing wheels screw directly to the bottom of the gate tubing without any need for cutting, the external surface mounting wheels typically raise the gate 90mm from the ground track system.

Sliding Gate Ground/Floor Track

domes r10 sliding gate track round profile bolt down to ground concrete
The sliding gate ground track is formed from galvanized steel to the R10 profile, this profile is proven to be the smoothest operation for the gate wheels without any negative characteristics like the older v groove designs. The track is secured to the driveway using plugs and screws or knock in's such as anchor nails, its important to use a fixing that does not protrude greater than 3-4mm to prevent contact with the gate wheels.
Galvanized Steel
Elongated 6mm holes allow for adjustment before final tie down
Suits all R10 gate wheels

Gate Stopper

Sliding gate stop
The gate stopper is a crucial part to any sliding gate installation, the stop is installed at the end of the open position to prevent the gate from being opened past the normal open point which prevents the sliding gate from coming off the track (or out of the top guiding system.
