VIPER 524 Low Voltage 24 Volt Strong and Silent Linear Actuator

Operations are smooth and efficient using its 24 Volt DC motor system coupled to a 19mm (3/4") lead screw driving the stainless steel "piston" in and out. The end positions are set using the easiest possible method of adjustable limit stops. Limit stops are slid forward/back to adjust both the maximum open and closed positions of the gate, being a mechanical system its a case of set and forget with no further adjustments being required.
Typically the open and closed positions will not require and further stops unless higher wind loads are expected (cladded gates). The Viper series actuators are 100% Universal meaning one actuator could be installed on EITHER side of the driveway as the clever clutch release system (Emergency release) is available on both sides of the actuator. The laser cut steel brackets for the gate and post are constructed from 6mm steel (galvanized) ensuring they are rigid and static with no flexibility or movement. The actuator is suited for both pull to open inwards and also pushing outwards to open installations.
The Viper 524 has 500mm of usable stroke without the use of included limit stoppers, or effectively a reduction of 30mm per limit stop used (MIN. 440mm/470mm) and has the ability to work with gates from as narrow as 850mm and as wide as 4.2m (14ft) with a maximum weight of 300kg. The prerequisite for a VIPER operator is a gate mounting rail or fitting point at 200mm or greater from the ground level. A 6mm thick Riser plate is included in the package contents to create a mounting point for the actuator if required. A 1 Metre flying lead is pre-connected to the actuator ready to connect to a junction of your choosing. Cable rolls and junction boxes are available as add on items.

Supplied Riser Plate
The supplied riser plate allows for installation to the bottom rail when no others are available making it suitable for all gate mounting rail scenarios. Alternatively the gate mounting bracket (without the riser plate) can be installed to any horizontal rail greater than 200mm from ground level.

CERO PWM Solar Regulator

The Cero Solar Regulator is PWM type suited for Gel, Sealed and Flooded batteries. It operates in a 3 stage charging control to ensure optimal performance to the batteries and provide the greatest longevity. The Cero is has protections in place in case of errors and failures in the solar panel installation or battery installation and will shut down in the case of short circuit and overload, then restart once clear.
The LCD display provides accurate data on the current input voltage from the solar panel, the current stage of charging and also the current battery voltage making it easy to check the status on the fly.

Battery System

Supplied with an external Dual DEEP CYCLE battery system 24V 15aH system as standard in a SLIMLINE Waterproof and Dust Proof Rated Enclosure (IP67 Cable Gland Supplied), there are a total of THREE battery capacity options available.
Option 1 (Premier 24-15B): The 15aH Deep Cycle setup allow for up to a two and a half weeks of usage without any charge from the solar panel in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days (whilst factoring in standby power), this is the ideal choice for areas that may see a consistent week of poor weather poor weather through winter without sunlight. This is great choice VIC, NSW, SA, ACT, TAS, QLD, NT and WA.
Option 2 (Premier 24-22B): The 22aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over three weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Light commercial usage.
Option 3 (Premier 24-26B): The 26aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over four weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Medium commercial usage of 10-15 operations per day for a period of approx. 2 weeks.
Option 4 (Premier 24-55B): The 55aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over eight to nine weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support higher duty commercial usage of 60 operations per day for a period of approx. 1 weeks. It should be considered in these applications to upgrade the solar panel option to 180 Watts.
The allowances are general in nature and typically factor for a continuous period taking into account overcast and other poor weather conditions along with wet seasons that will contribute to a no charge/minimal charge result from the solar system. These allowances do not take into account shade on the solar panel which will effect the overall charging.
These allowances DO NOT take into account WiFi and Bluetooth Modules, as system consumption will increase using one of these devices Always use the next option up from requirement.
Bi Fold/Sectional/Folding Swing Gate Hardware Kit

The ideal swing gate solution when a short driveway is the issue. The bi-fold/sectional folding gate system allows for a unique approach on space management by having a secondary gate hinged off the primary (gate closest to the post), with the clever hardware kit connected as the primary gate begins to open an equal and opposite reaction will occur for the secondary gate which will fold towards the first(front face to front face) This movement HALVES the amount of required space in the installation allowing for that much needed clearance space for the car.
The kit is supplied with systems for BOTH sides of the driveway effectively FOUR panels (two pairs).
How it works
Opening Movement
When the primary hinged gate is moved in the opening direction, a pivoting action takes place on the pillar/pier/post via the threaded adjuster (tunes to suit the gate sizes). The threaded adjuster is connected to the drive blade rack. On the secondary gate the FIXED pinion gear is connected. As the gate is moved the fixed pinion gear is turned by the blade rack causing the connected secondary gate to move in the opposite direction to the first.
Closing Movement
When the gate is closed the opposite movement occurs, to align the gates correctly when closed a special locator gate stop is provided which accepts the nylon locator installed on the bottom of the gate.
