Australian Made 4G Video Intercom System Direct to Mobile APP
A revolutionary Australian Made Product that addresses all your long distance including Video doorbell, gate release and intercommunication needs working on in-built 4G technology.
High quality video stream is standard using a 2MP 1080P camera with a 110° field of view and a 10 meter viewing distance, with the ability to view the stream even without receiving an intercom call. Gate release at any time via the Home screen of the APP.
Capable of working across 99.7% of location Australia Wide. The embedded sim takes away the need for shopping around for a deal from the service providers as the service charge is $15 per month you have access to both Optus and Telstra networks with intelligent Auto-Switching according to the best network reception available.
The GateKeeper post top mount design fits directly to the top of a steel or Aluminium post and SECUERLY clamps in place from the inside (accessible via the back cover). The product is manufactured from an Acrylic outer made for durability in the Australian climate without degradation, Wipe the dust off and it will look as good as new whether one year or ten years down the road.

Setup
Upon receiving the device you will scan the QR code to register the device along with your billing details, upon completion of the registration form allow 3-4 Hours during business trading times for the service to become active. At this point you will receive an email with your Tuya Smart App's Invitation code with the device already connected.
Install the Tuya Smart APP then Navigate to Home management, join a home and paste the code received via email.
For the connection the GateKeeper requires a power supply normally provided by the automatic gate (if a powered solution) or its own solar system (this is an alternative kit option).
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to operate per month?
The Cost for the device service is $15 per month providing you with 1GB Bandwidth (More than sufficient for regular intercom and normal monitoring use) and with TWO service providers (Telstra and Optus) of bandwidth, the speed is throttled automatically if the bandwidth is exceeded.
Can i mount it to my fence post, fence or wall?
Not this specific model as its designed to clamp to the top of a 75x75mm post, BUT we also offer an alternative model that can do so. click here to see the fence mounting option.
Can it alert me to people approaching the gate?
Yes it can but it is motion based so you may receive false triggers from trees in the wind, passing vehicles etc.
Can i use it on my mobile phone?
Most likely yes, go to your APP store and confirm you can download and install Tuya Smart (its Free).
How do i confirm it will be suitable at my gate location/i am in a remote location?
To do this test you will need a phone or tablet on the Optus or Telstra network.
- Hold your phone or device where the GateKeeper will be located.
- Go to https://fiber.google.com/speedtest/ and run speed test.
- Write down the recorded UPLOAD speed.
Using upload, the general experience of the product can be determined as below:
0.5 - 1.5 Mbps - Poor performance
1.5 - 5 Mbps - Usable performance
> 5 Mbps - Good performance
> 30 Mbps - Very good performance
Speeds below 1.5Mbps UPLOAD may work due to GateKeeper’s extended range antennas, however a live test with a unit will be required to confirm if the service will viable.
Is it available in a metal finish?
The GateKeeper is designed to provide the absolute best possible signal strength, metal enclosure will limit/mask the cellular reception but rest assured the GateKeeper is designed using the highest quality and long lasting acrylic materials.
Do i need a rain hood?
A rain hood is NOT required, the unit is totally weatherproof (IP55). Installing with a rainhood will only limit the cellular reception and may also cause audio issues.
