Flush Mount Aluminum Frame Electric Striker Plate for Mortice Locks (31D Series)

Suitable for aluminum frame doors where the striker would be near to the edge of the frame the 31D series electric striker plate is suitable for the large majority of dead latch mortice lock sets. The striker is Fail-Secure type meaning in case of a power outage the door or gate would remain locked and the premises would remain secure, the mortice locks keys would be used to unlock the lock.

Typically speaking the deadlatch is not engaged when the striker is in use, but rather so used to "lock up" or secure when not in use.
