The heavy duty telescopic gate allows for a primary and trailing gate configuration to eliminate the amount of space requirement in which the sliding gate opens to. The kit will create an interconnection between the primary gate (back gate) and the secondary gate (front gate).


The primary gate (closest to inside the property) will incorporate both the adjustable pulley systems in which both operate on sealed bearings, the secondary gate will have its own exclusive bracket fitted directly to it (supplied) in which it will connect to the primary gates stainless steel pulley wire.


When the primary gate is moved the secondary will follow, when the secondary is moved the primary will follow (manual operations). If automated using a sliding gate motor, all movements are initiated by the connected primary gate


The telescopic gate system can work with all sliding gate wheels thanks to the supplied low and high base plate system thus supporting IRM wheels (Internal recess mount) and EFM wheel (external flat mount wheels and in terms of the guiding system it can work with roller and bracket arrangements as well as nylon block and angle arrangements.


The cleverly designed pulley system allows for up to 25mm (1 inch) of adjustment from either end of the primary gate to allow for a correctly tensioned system in turn allowing for smooth operation, The system is capable of 4500mm (4.5 Meters) per gate and a maximum of 250kg per gate, typically the tail section of the sliding gate is 350mm minimum thus allowing for an absolute maximum opening of 8300mm (8.3m).

Facts about a telescopic sliding gate system

The secondary gate will move at twice the speed of the primary gate, essentially the load is at minimum doubled to tripled when automating, always use a higher specification DC motor such as the Titan 2410 (1000kg Capacity) DC sliding gate motor is strongly suggested for automation due to adjustable speed characteristics and slowdown smoothness and adjustment.

C Channel Section with Nylon Block

The C channel with Nylon Block is fitted to a support post behind the gate on the inside. On the back of the gate the supplied Z section slides through the nylon block. This totally removes the need for rollers operating on an uneven surface such as vertical cladding or any protrusions that may be above the gate frame such as spears. The C channel and nylon block also works well for gates on a grade where the guide system must follow UP/DOWN during the gates operation, Suitable for gates where there is overhead protrusions such as spears, suitable for gates with face mounted cladding to the frame. The C channel is available in both Steel (with top cap) and Aluminum and the Nylon block is available in both white and black colour options.

Gate Catcher/Receiver Meeting Point

Multiple options available to choose from based on the gates total thickness including and cladding material if applicable. It is recommended to use a gate catcher that is 10mm greater than the gate thickness. All catchers are available with offset brackets allowing for closing behind a post (as opposed to up to a post).

Sliding Gate Wheel Options

Internal Recess/Flush Mount Wheels

Sliding gate internal recess bearing wheel 
 Internal Double bearing wheels allow the gate wheels to be recessed into the bottom of the gate frame (minimum height 78mm tubing), they keep the gate close to the ground track system (normally within 25mm) and provide the neatest aesthetic. The small pocket cut into the bottom of the gate is not greater than the 78mm wheel diameter and allows the flange points to meet with the tubing on either side and screw into place.

External Surface Mount Wheels

 The easiest to install, these bearing wheels screw directly to the bottom of the gate tubing without any need for cutting, the external surface mounting wheels typically raise the gate 90mm from the ground track system.

Sliding Gate Ground/Floor Track

The sliding gate ground track is formed from galvanized steel to the R10 profile, this profile is proven to be the smoothest operation for the gate wheels without any negative characteristics like the older v groove designs. The track is secured to the driveway using plugs and screws or knock in's such as anchor nails, its important to use a fixing that does not protrude greater than 3-4mm to prevent contact with the gate wheels.

The Titan 2410 Sliding Gate System is built around a compact form factor yet utilizing the space for a large 180 Watt 24V DC motor delivering an unparalleled capacity of up to 1000KG gate or up to 8 Meters in length (package is supplied with 4 Metres of gear rack which is adjustable in the kit contents tab).

Clever engineering allows for the system to work in a Ultra Fast and controlled operating speed with the allowance to be reduced to a normal or even slow running speed if required. The housing is formed from die-cast alloy with a steel pinion gear and all internal mountings are of steel to provide the best physical strength both inside and outside and the peace of mind of a long service life.

Keeping it reliable and dependable the Titan series operator uses trusty micro switch limit system allowing for the added bonus of a simple (and effective) installation. Multiple Configurable Safety Inputs

Obstacle Detection by load This feature is always running and detecting if the gate is stalled under load by an obstacle during its travel. 
Typical Photocell Input Terminal to prevent gate from closing on vehicle, reverts gate if a vehicle passes through during closing, restarts the Automatic closing timer after each interruption. 
  Photostop Input, Same as the typical photocell input with an added feature of preventing the gate from opening if the photocell is blocked. Handy for sliding gates that open towards an obstacle such as a pedestrian gate.

CERO PWM Solar Regulator

The Cero Solar Regulator is PWM type suited for Gel, Sealed and Flooded batteries. It operates in a 3 stage charging control to ensure optimal performance to the batteries and provide the greatest longevity. The Cero is has protections in place in case of errors and failures in the solar panel installation or battery installation and will shut down in the case of short circuit and overload, then restart once clear.

The LCD display provides accurate data on the current input voltage from the solar panel, the current stage of charging and also the current battery voltage making it easy to check the status on the fly.

Supplied with an external Dual DEEP CYCLE battery system 24V 15aH system as standard in a SLIMLINE Waterproof and Dust Proof Rated Enclosure (IP67 Cable Gland Supplied), there are a total of THREE battery capacity options available.

Option 1 (Premier 24-15B): The 15aH Deep Cycle setup allow for up to a two and a half weeks of usage without any charge from the solar panel in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days (whilst factoring in standby power), this is the ideal choice for areas that may see a consistent week of poor weather poor weather through winter without sunlight. This is great choice VIC, NSW, SA, ACT, TAS, QLD, NT and WA.

Option 2 (Premier 24-22B): The 22aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over three weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Light commercial usage.

Option 3 (Premier 24-26B): The 26aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over four weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Medium commercial usage of 10-15 operations per day for a period of approx. 2 weeks.

Option 4 (Premier 24-55B): The 55aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over eight to nine weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support higher duty commercial usage of 60 operations per day for a period of approx. 1 weeks. It should be considered in these applications to upgrade the solar panel option to 180 Watts.

The allowances are general in nature and typically factor for a continuous period taking into account overcast and other poor weather conditions along with wet seasons that will contribute to a no charge/minimal charge result from the solar system. These allowances do not take into account shade on the solar panel which will effect the overall charging.

These allowances DO NOT take into account WiFi and Bluetooth Modules, as system consumption will increase using one of these devices Always use the next option up from requirement.
